What to Expect

What are services like?
Redeemer offers a relaxed but traditional sung mass on Sunday at 10:00 am. We use music from many eras and from around the globe. Organ, guitar, piano, brass, and our voices blended together - all shape the music in this place. Our music director, musicians, and choir all work to prepare the very best in Christian worship music. Midweek and evening services of worship are offered as announced on our website. To some, our worship is very formal. To others, it seems rather informal. But at Redeemer THE MASS MATTERS. Sometimes a little incense and some Chant; other times fast-paced global music with non-traditional sermons. In any case - always a whole lot of God! And at Redeemer, fair-trade coffee/tea/juice after Sunday mass is a part of our morning. Make it a part of yours.

What is the community like?
Redeemer is growing in our diversity - and in number. We are a smaller faith community in a transient area, with a heart for the people around us. Our parish is welcoming, inclusive, quirky, hopeful, and centered in Christ. We know what it's like to "live on the edge," so we handle life as it come to us, trusting that God is present. There is room for you here!

What if I'm not a Christian?
As a progressive Christian commuity we acknowledge God at work in the world in a variety of ways and expressions. We maintain great ecumenical relationships with other churches, and share common ground with our Turkish Muslim neighbors.

This parish welcomes you! The best way to find out more about us is simply by visiting for a few Sunday mornings. If I can offer you any assistance or answer questions, please let me know. Blessings and peace in Jesus! -- Randy

I grew up in a large congregation and often felt like the "small fish in a big pond" but at Redeemer, I feel a part of everything, and friends with everyone. I feel at once joined to the past through the patterns of the liturgy and the church year, and to the present through the wonderful, relevant homilies. Patty
