September 10, 2022 Dear Blaine County Community: God works in such mysterious ways. Yesterday I sent you an email saying that I forgive you for the unconscionable condition of Eudora Cemetery.... for forgiving is a blessing. But today I found out that actually I need to ask you to forgive me. I need to apologize to you for holding you accountable and responsible for the horrific and unbelievable condition of Eudora Cemetery or for blaming you for misinformation about the location of the cemetery, etc. Today I found out that there are relatives in this area who were/are negligent in maintaining that cemetery. Not that the cemetery belongs to them, but because our family members always got a group of people together to take care of that cemetery. The only reason Mrs. Flynn from Opportunistic (who is a family member) and other family members have now taken an interest in the cemetery is because of my coming to town to try to correct the situation. Yes, Mrs. Flynn is one of your own, but that doesn’t excuse what she has done or what the other members of my family have done in neglecting that cemetery. Yes, I forgive them, but truthfully they aren’t interested in that cemetery other than thinking something financial can come to them from it. How many people’s bodies have been lost-desecrated because of their lack of concern and neglect of that cemetery? Yet, the week I come to Blaine County, they run out to the graveyard throwing up a cheat fence and cheap sign. Yes, I can also say that it was the Black community, along with my family members, who were/are competing with me regarding that cemetery. Yes, I forgive them, but I will not have anything to do with them. I thought that perhaps I could sit down and talk with them, but I can’t. I got sick to my stomach when I found out that it was/was my family members and the black community who neglected the cemetery-abused/desecrated dead bodies that have now been lost. They have taken away what is rightfully anyone who has died--to be able to sleep in peace until they shall have risen from the dead. If I had not come to town, my Papa’s grave would have been lost within the next five years because of the lack of anyone taking care of that cemetery. I will repeat it: My family members and the Black community are dealing with this cemetery now because they think they can get something out of it. They don’t care about those graves; they don’t care about those people. How can you say you care about the dead when you have set back and allowed all of these bodies to be lost….not ever to be found again….these dead people had a right to be respected, loved, protected, and cared for during their resting period until Jesus came back to earth and all would rise. But they haven’t been. My family members and the Black community can run around pretending all that they want that they are so concerned and committed to Eudora Cemetery, but they aren’t. Truthfully, they should be jailed for the desecration of dead bodies: that is a crime, and every state in this country has laws on the books regarding this. But they won’t be…because too many good people try to make amends for the sins of those who don’t care about what they do. But my family and the Black community here need to get down on their knees and ask God to forgive them for what they have done and their greed in thinking they can get financial rewards from that cemetery. Again, please forgive me for blaming you. I only returned here to help my Papa and those lying at Eudora Cemetery. I m sorry that I accused you of doing wrong when you had not. Thank you Rev.
