Elim Seventh-Day Adventist
About Us
The Elim Seventh-Day Adventist Church, which is a part of the worldwide Seventh-Day Adventist organization, was established about the year 1920.
We are a Christian denomination. We believe God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also believe in, and accept the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus as part of God’s plan for our redemption…
As our name suggests, we believe that the Ten Commandments are still a required part of the “Christian Faith.” We believe that Saturday is the Sabbath of the Fourth Commandment, and that it is to be kept by all Bible-believing Christians. And, we believe in the Second Return of Christ in glory, and are anticipating the day when he (Jesus Christ) shall put in his appearance.
We believe that God is interested in the whole person. As a result, we are strong proponents of healthy living… To this end, we have been teaching holistic health for more than 150yrs.
As a part of our program of holistic health, we teach the importance of man’s return to God’s original “meal-plan” for the human race – a vegetarian lifestyle.
People of all religious persuasion are invited to fellowship with us whenever our doors are opened for worship services.
