Mt Zion United Methodist Church
About Us
Mount Zion is a small church with a big heart!
Our weekly worship service (11 a.m.) follows a traditional United Methodist liturgy, including Scripture readings, responsive readings from the Psalter, choral anthems, occasional instrumental accompaniments, and soloists. Although the worship is traditional, it isn't stuffy! We enjoy laughing and having fun in our worship together each week!
Children are invited to participate in children's music (choir, handbells, and boomwhackers!) each Sunday morning at 9:40.
Sunday school classes for children, youth, and adults meet at 10 a.m. each Sunday morning.
Favorite short-term and seasonal activities include our "Forgiven to Forgive" medical debt forgiveness campaign, volunteer and monetary support for Clemson Community Care, Easter Egg hunts for the children, the annual school supply drive and "Blessing of the Backpacks," Fall Tailgates during football season, quarterly church pot-luck dinners, Loads of Love (paying for laundry for our neighbors), monthly men's club breakfasts, and women's groups for fellowship and mission.
